Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), inaugurated the annual three-day Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) in Nagpur’s Reshim Baug, focusing on planning for the outfit's centenary year in 2025. The ABPS serves as the highest decision-making body of the RSS, where leaders deliberate on crucial issues, review past work, and plan future endeavors. Given the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the RSS's role in supporting the BJP, discussions at the conclave are significant, aiming to facilitate the BJP's electoral goals. The emphasis will be on organizational strategies, addressing current national issues, and implementing new training programs for RSS volunteers. With preparations underway for the centenary celebrations in 2025, the conclave aims to strengthen the RSS's outreach and highlight the contributions of key ideological figures. Over 1,500 representatives from across the country are participating in the event, reflecting the scale of planning and coordination for the centenary celebrations.
