New Delhi, India, January 16: The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has conveyed its appreciation following the announcement regarding the formation of the 8th Pay Commission.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared this development with the media, emphasizing that the initiative received the endorsement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This move highlights the government's ongoing commitment to improving workers' welfare. Minister Vaishnaw pointed out the importance of establishing the Pay Commission promptly and implementing its recommendations efficiently, considering it a significant step forward. The commitment behind this action has garnered widespread recognition.
For a considerable period, BMS has been advocating the creation of the 8th Pay Commission. Representatives from the organization have engaged in regular discussions with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The matter was also raised during recent pre-budget consultations with the Ministry of Finance, ultimately leading to this announcement.
The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh has expressed its sincere gratitude to the Prime Minister, the Finance Minister, and the Chief Economic Advisor for their swift action in addressing this issue. Representing the workforce, the organization extends heartfelt thanks for their efforts.
